My Origin Story
I’m your classic overachieving eldest child—a natural-born leader and rule-follower who isn’t afraid to share her opinion.
I went to Syracuse University to study graphic design and quickly found my second home at The Daily Orange, the independent student-run newspaper. Soon, I began interning for Syracuse’s marketing department as a designer, but my boss recognized the storytelling and communication skills beneath the surface. I accepted a full-time position in this department after graduation, focusing on website management and copywriting, both completely new to me.

After three and a half years of honing my skills at Syracuse, I returned home to the Lehigh Valley to work as a content marketing manager at Moravian College, focusing primarily on undergraduate and graduate enrollment. During my four years at Moravian, I became the team’s de facto project manager (can you tell I like organization?), completed my MBA, saw through the rebrand from Moravian College to Moravian University, and contributed to the recruitment of the university’s largest undergraduate class in a time of national declining college enrollment.
In 2023, I joined Johns Hopkins University’s central communications team as the brand manager. Go Hop!
My Passions
I’ve got a dog and two cats, all of whom luckily like to snuggle up with a good book or crossword puzzle. I’m a big believer in “Adopt, Don’t Shop.”
One of my life goals is to visit every U.S. National Park and I’m already well on my way. I love traveling to new places and, if you’re wondering, Scotland and Iceland are by far my favorite trips I’ve taken. I’m happy to provide detailed itineraries for any trip, planned down to the hour.
